Julie Hawksworth celebrated 20 years with local family business Jos Richardson and Son Ltd last week. Julie started working for Company on 13th July 1999.
She was hired by then Managing Director, the late Tim Richardson, as a Bookkeeper and PA. Shortly after she was given the job Julie passed her accountancy exams and went on the run the accounts office for many years.
The business was much smaller in those days and Julie had responsibility for managing the accounts team looking after the car dealership and the filling station at Goole.
Over the years Julie has seen many changes as the family run business has expanded in the forecourt retailing sector. The Company now owns and runs 7 forecourt sites throughout Yorkshire and the car dealership and truck stop at Goole.
Julie was presented with a bottle of champagne and flowers by Director Jane Richardson and her line Manager Karen Marshall, Finance Director, gave a speech thanking Julie for her hard work and tenacity over the years. Her colleague Laura baked a cake for the occasion.

We thank her for everything she has done for the Company and our family and wish her continued success in her role”
