Community

We are really proud of the work that we do in the local community. Our business is 135 years old, and in all that time it has been family-owned and operated in the area – so we recognise the importance of family and are committed to our community.

Howden AFC

Jos. Richardson & Son donates £5000 to the Howden AFC development fund to help them build a brand new sports facility in Howden. We have also committed to working with their board to assist with fundraising activities and to encourage other businesses to invest.

Junction Goole’s Christmas Champions Campaign

Jos. Richardson & Son supports Junction Goole’s Christmas Champions and helps 300 school children see the 2023 Christmas production Hansel & Gretel. National research from UK Theatre shows that as the on-going cost of living crisis continues to bite school trips have fallen 68% compared to last year so we wanted to support families and school children to see a festive show in their local venue and spread some Christmas cheer in these tough times.
